General pre-requisites before rooting or installing custom packages on Android devices

Android rooting has become the latest top trend these days. As the technology is getting better with time, new automated tools are coming that make the entire things so easy and time saving. Android is the field where everyone (who have basics knowledge of Java) can try his/her hands. Being an open source platform it accepts developments from any Android coder. Moreover the tools you require for developing your android apps are available for free of cost. Stay tuned I am going to share all those tools in coming days.

But now let me focus on one very complex and useful thing of Android platform. Here I am talking about rooting and custom files. Rooting is the essential thing that opens the hidden doors in Android machines. It unblocks the boot loader which allows user to try various custom things on his/her device. But like every high end thing rooting is too a risky process that sometimes leads to unwanted results.

Here I am going to share some general steps that will help you when you will try to root your device or update it with some custom packet. In android world these are known as general pre-requisites. If you follow all the pre-requisites carefully then you are bypassing some of the main risks of post Android development. It is a root level process which you have to follow every time during rooting or custom packet flashing.

What pre-requisites will do?

Well pre-requisites will help you during entire process. In this list I am trying to attach every single step that will help you at later stage. Pre-requisites will help you with these cases:
• To solve errors regarding battery backup
• To provide a quick solution in case of accidental cases
• Minimizing all risks
• To make hardware compatible with software
• etc

So these are some main advantages of pre-requisites.

Main pre-requisites

These are some pre-requisites which you need to obey before any such operation:
1. First of all, please ensure that your device is charged to minimum 70% of the complete battery level.
2. Now you need to do alter settings for USB mode. Go to Settings>>Applications>>Development menu. There you will see USB as Debugging option. Just tick that. This step will help you to transfer data from PC to smartphone/tablet successfully.
3. In this process, you will need to transfer some data from USB to palm device. Please try to use official USB chord there.
4. If you have activated some Anti-Viruses in your mobile, then please de-activate them. You can turn them ON later after completion of the process.
5. Your smartphone’s/tablet drivers should be there in your computer. If you are dealing with brand able devices like Samsung, Sony etc then you can find drivers from official websites. Other companies too have listed drivers on official sites but just in case you are not getting drivers for any device then please let me know through comments. I will give you an alternative.
6. Please backup your content through Android app from Play Store.

These are the common steps which are necessary during any post development case. If you are trying to install something from internet directly then please use some high quality internet connection. Also you can unlock you SIM card from Settings>>Location and Security menu. It is an optional step which is not required in every case.
