Android 4.4 KitKat announced: what's new inside?


Google has just updated their interface to Android 4.3 Jellybean few weeks back. Now they have shifting the entire API level from Android Jellybean to Android 4.4 KitKat. Yes they have named new Android version KitKat. Again Google has used some sweet’s name for its Android version. For all who don’t know the reason why Google come with sweet’s name always, let me brief it. According to them, Android OS is sweetening the life with reduced cost and amazing features. That’s why they use sweet’s name for its versions.

Talking about Android 4.4 KitKat then it will be interfaced o new API level that is full of new level customizations and smoothness. According to Google, with latest Android 4.4 KitKat their aim is to provide amazing experience to all the users. I hope they will stand on their words n future too.

With the latest KitKat OS, Android has received the chocolate flavour. From its logo, it appears to be somewhat similar like Android 4.0 ICS but on the features aspect, it will house very high end tools that will provide amazing smoothness with flawless controls.

Android 4.4 KitKat: What’s New?

Till now Google hasn’t confirmed any official changes/features of this new catalogue. According to them as no one can stand at a distance from Chocolate, in the same manner no one will be able to make any distance from this new version. This is flourished with very sweet flavours that are all high end in nature.

History of Android

Android has a rich history. They started with Android 1.5 Cupcake>>Donut>>Éclair>>Froyo>>Gingerbread>>Honey Comb>>Ice Cream Sandwich>>Jellybean and now KitKat. All the updates were almost a hit (if we left Honey Comb aside). Till now more than 50% of Android users are on Android 2.x Gingerbread version. Also it is one of the favourite API level of most of the developers.

Yesterday Microsoft has owned Nokia for new launches. They are surely going to launch their mobiles with high pitch and own Windows OS. Till now other companies were hesitating in coming with Windows smartphones as it costs them a lot for Windows platform. But Microsoft will bring all the improvements with Windows surface now (for mobile). All in all it will be an interesting fight between Android and Windows smartphone. They could even reduce the Windows smartphone prices to make them more lucrative.
