HTC Desire 600C specifications and price

HTC is going to launch HTC Desire 600C in India very soon. This time they have collaborated with one of India’s biggest Telecom service provider Reliance. They have also launched Desire 600 earlier this year. They have also notified this through their Official Indian portal. This smartphone is wrapped with all the features that put it in front of all the mobile giants like Samsung, Sony etc. also the price tag with which it might come is handy for all other companies.

HTC Desire 600C is going to be a unique combo of GSM + CDMA connectivity. Till now they have focused on GSM + GSM variants only. It can be assumed as the output of tagging up with Reliance. Well as far as the repo of the company is concerned then HTC is a global brand that serves huge audience with smartphones mainly. Their flagships are none to second in competition. HTC is known for testing new technologies all the time. They are also known for HTC Sense which improves the overall interface.

Specifications of HTC Desire 600C

It houses a 4.5 inches QHD display that provides decent experience. With the power of 1.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor it runs on Android 4.1 Jellybean OS. Android 4.1 is not a good idea to entertain users in the era of Android 4.2 JB at least. Its processor is paired with 1 GB RAM for better multi-tasking. It is a sleek device with 9.5 mm thickness and 127 grams weight only. HTC Sense UI with Blink Feed further glorifies the overall picture quality.

It is tagged with 5 MP rear and 1.6 MP front facing cameras. Rear camera is complimented with LED flash for low light conditions. It comes with 8 GB ROM which can be very well expanded to 64 GB via SD card.

On the connectivity front, it scores really well with updated connectivity features like DLNA, GPS, NFC etc. it comes with 1860 mAh battery which according to me could be improved to somewhat higher level. With Qualcomm processor, 1850 mAh is going to provide nice backup but by seeing the current market flow, I think they should have coupled it with 2200 mAh battery (minimum).

Price and availability

Till now no words about its price are available. It will be available in Indian through Reliance network. In accordance with its specs, we expect it to get priced somewhere around Rs. 25,000. But HTC needs to care about this price slot seriously because smartphone like Galaxy S3 too retails around similar price tag.
