Xiaomi Mi3 price, specifications and availability in India

Xiaomi has announced one of its most awaited smartphone/phablet Xiaomi Mi3. It is the successor of Mi2 which they released last year. Talking about Mi2 then that was a big hit in form of customer satisfaction. After that all users were waiting for Xiaomi Mi3. Now finally they have launched this awaited gadget. It took them almost a year to develop latest flagship. So we can hope the same quality (as Mi2) again.

Xiaomi Mi3 spots a 5 inch IPS IPS 1920x1080 pixels display with 441 PPI and Corning Gorilla Glass security. Its screen is stuffed with all the specs that you need inside a high class smartphone. Quality wise it is second to none and also from the security aspect, they have used GG protective layer. It will save it from accidental damages, drops etc. it supports glove touch technology which lets you use touch screen with gloves. It is highly useful in cold conditions.

It is powered by 1.8 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 4 and 2.3 GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 chipped processor. NVIDIA core is paired up with 72 cores GeForce GPU whereas Snapdragon chips are paired with Adreno 330 GPU’s. It runs on MIUI V5 Android OS. It comes with 13 MP rear and 2 MP FF camera. Rear camera is calibrated with Exmor BSI sensor, 1080p full HD recording and LED flash. Front camera supports BSI sensor. 2GB RAM and 16/64 GB internal memory behaves like icing on the cake.

It is a high connectivity device that brings Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi, 3G etc connectivity tools under one roof. To support all the tools/functions for a longer time, it is provided with a 3050 mAh battery that provides approx. 8-10 hours talk time.

So Xiaomi Mi3 specifications can be summed up as:
• 5 inch high class screen
• MIUI topped OS
• Quad core processor with 2 GB DDR2 RAM (they could improve here)
• 13 MP rear and 2 MP FF camera with Exmor and BSI sensors
• 16/64 GB variants
• 3050 mAh battery

Price and availability

Xiaomi Mi3 comes with white, grey, pink, black, blue and yellow colors. It is currently launched in China market. There the prices are as follows:
• 16 GB variant: 1999 Chinese Yuan approx. $325
• 64 GB variant: 2499 Chinese Yuan approx. $408

64 GB smartphone with such nice features for just $408 is something like dream coming true. Yes you might get problems with service centres. They might not have sufficient customer support coffees for supporting their product fully. If you can compromise on this factor, then nothing could be better than Xiaomi Mi3.
