First 100,000 Xiaomi Mi3 sold out in just 86 seconds: specs and price

Xiaomi is among top Android smartphone retailer in China. If official reports are to be believed then they have sold first 100,000 Xiaomi Mi3 pieces in just 1 minute and 26 seconds. This means it took them only 86 seconds to sell out first allot of high end Xiaomi Mi3 smartphones. This new is unveiled through their Twitter account. They are referred to as Apple of China. Generally Chinese products are not supposed to be much venerable towards long run (especially in India). But different is the case with Xiaomi. This particular Chinese company uses world class hardware/software inside its smartphones.

Local Indian firms like Micromax, Karbonn should take a lesson from such traffic sales from Xiaomi. I have seen a constant decay in the quality of MMX flagships. After MMX A116 Canvas HD, they haven’t done anything special for which they were known for. Micromax should shift towards quality features now (mainly in terms of processor chips). They are attracting the users with increased number of cores but very sadly they are not concentrating on the quality of chips.

Now let me discuss the specifications of Xiaomi Mi3.

It is a phablet with usual 5 inch IPS screen having 1920x1080 pixels smart resolution. Corning Glass layer is added to increase the quality of glass in terms of security measures. Its screen captures 441 PPI resolution which is among the highest pixel density among any 5 inches phablet (globally).

It is smoothened with Android and MIUI V5 user interface. Both provide it a glassy and buttery smooth interface. It is powered by dual processors which measures 1.8 GHz clocking on NVIDIA Tegra 4 chip and 2.3 GHz clocking on Snapdragon 800 chip. 2 GB RAM is like a cherry on the top. Be very frank I haven’t seen such specs inside any other 5 incher which retails around its price. It is 8.1 mm thick only with 145 grams weight. Believe me you are not going to get any better device presently.

It equips a 13 MP rear camera that is interfaced with a Sony Exmor BSI sensor and LED flashing system. It captures very high class videos at 1080p resolution. 2 MP FF camera with normal BSI is also there that too record with 1080p resolution. It is launched in 16/64 GB dual memory variants. You will get all the latest high end connectivity tools inside this super smartphone. To support all the things with a decent backup, it brings a 3050 mAh battery which is awesome for a 5 incher.
