Micromax A58 Bolt complete features and price detail

One new Android smartphone is peeped out on official Micromax website. According to sources it is going to be Micromax Bolt A58. MMX has used its Bolt series for coming with low price smartphones and yes from the first look MMX A58 Bolt seems to be carved with very usual low end specs that gives some hint about its pricing (which is not announced yet).

The signature feature of Bolt series i.e. Swipe and Share seems to be missing from Bolt A58 (according to the specs that are available so far). Like usual cases, this time too MMX is focusing on basic smartphone with very normal features. I think they will shock us with its price. They will tag it to a sticker which will completely shock all the mobile users as well as other companies (only this can help Bolt A58 running successful in Indian market).

Micromax A58 Bolt specifications

I have already given you a clue about its overall performance. It is an entry level smartphone that features a 3.5 inch screen with 320x480 pixels resolution only. It runs on Android 4.2 Jellybean OS. Companies like MMX, Karbonn, Lava etc are using the freeware nature of Android completely. They are coming with latest operating systems at entry level price tags. Similar OS version is installed within MMX flagship like Doodle 2, canvas 4, Canvas HD etc. So on the software end you can compare this phone with giants.

MediatTek 6572M chipped dual core processor with 1 GHz clocking and 512 MB RAM is there for handling the data processing. Frankly speaking then RAM is not enough so that it can provide world class multi-tasking environment for a 3.5 incher but its dual core CPU is something to look for. It spots a 2 MP rear camera with fixed focus feature. You can manually change its focus with screen tap. Dual SIM with Dual standby option is there which is available in every new/old MMX phone.

It equips 90 MB RO only. You can expand it to 32 GB with SD card. 90 MB memory is nothing. It can store up to 15-20 songs only so please add the extra cost of SD card along with its actual price. You can access 3G speed internet on this phone. Other connectivity options are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB (micro).

According to officials, its 1200 mAh battery will provide 4 hours talk time and 200 hours standby time with 3G network.

Price and availability

Price of Micromax A58 Bolt in India is kept secret yet. But with careful study of its features and company history, I think they will launch it in range somewhere around Rs. 4,000-6,000.
