It is an interesting update because the entire mobile industry (almost) is keen towards making their flagships compatible with latest Android 4.4 KitKat base. But on the surprising note, Sony as started updating its models on the sequential base. But I don’t think it should be taken as surprise or something like as they are doing it for years now (Android 4.1>>4.2 and now 4.3). It even let all the users enjoy flourished interface of all the Android versions.

New things in update

All the above mentioned smartphones/tablets are going to get a new interface through Android 4.3 Jellybean system. All of them will be sharing common set of features and apps. Here are some for the main features of this major update:
• Stability and better performance as usual
• Enhanced Project Butter screen experience which lets you enjoy buttery interface with better flow
• Android 4.3 UI which is far user friendly than older versions
• Sony’s Social Camera. It was seen on Xperia Z1 but now you can enjoy it on any of the 4 devices (mentioned above). This camera will enhance your camera experience with better projects, focusing and all
• Sony WALKMAN which improves the entire multimedia performance
• New interface and settings for basic apps like MyXperia, TrackID, Smart Connect etc You will find a new improved set of basic features that will work on the entire specification set

How to update

Sony has planned to roll out this update on global manner. It will be rolled out in various countries through usual OTA and manual kit method. You will yourself receive one notification about this update or you can anytime check it from Settings>>Updates menu. Taking about India then I think it will knock India somewhere during first r second week of January 2014.
