Micromax Canvas A200 Smartphone: complete specs and price details

ADVERTISMENTS

If reports are to be believed then another Micromax Canvas Smartphone is its way for all Indian customers. Canvas being the most popular smartphone series of MMX, all its pieces are accepted hand on hand by the customers. I am myself using Canvas 4 from last couple of months. Till now I haven’t found any kind of software as well as hardware issues with this phone. In almost no time, Micromax has become one of the top smartphone company in India and it is all because of its Canvas series.

Now moving further, they have decided to come with a medium budget smartphone (in form of MMX A200) which can dilute the difference between entry level smartphone and high end smartphone. As usual, first leak about Micromax A200 was popped up by @MMXNewscaster. There they have posted one image with detailed information about this upcoming MMX smartphone.

Micromax A200 features and images

See this image (taken from @MMXNewscaster):

With the first impression, it appears to be a simple phone with 3 usual touch sensitive buttons at front bottom part. These three buttons are visible in normal conditions (these are invisible in smartphones like Canvas 4, Turbo etc) which means it is going to wear a low/medium level price tag.

Tweet further shows that it is going to pack a 4.7 inch screen that is protected well with Gorilla Glass 2 coating. Gorilla Glass provides an effective shield for touch screens. It avoids the use of screen protectors which somewhere decays the touch response.

No details about its OS are given but we can assume it to run on Android 4.2 or 4.3 Jellybean platform. It is powered with a 1.3 GHz quad core CPU chip that is supported well by a 1 GB RAM. Its processing system i.e. quad core CPU with 1.3 GHz clocking and 1 GB RAM supports seems quite interesting and we can expect it to deliver high performance in terms of very low processing time.

It is equipped with 8 MP rear and 5 MP front facing camera that captures high class images and videos. 1800 mAh Li-Po battery is there which will provide a decent backup for this 4.7 incher (not very decent).

Price and availability of MMX A200

No details about its price and availability are available at present. But if we compare this smartphone with MMX giants like Canvas 4, Turbo, Doodle 2 etc then I think it should be priced somewhere around Rs. 12,000-14,000. We will keep you update about latest leaks/official announcements about A200 so keep checking.
