Rooting a phone is always like opening a door that contains jewelled treasure. By the term Jewelled Treasure I means to say that Rooting allows us to perform some root/base level modifications in our smart phone. In usual cases these customizations are kept away from normal users because of security factor. But I think most of the users are smart enough to perform these root level medications and company should allow all the users to make such changes from their own end.

Here I am going to discuss rooting information for two Xolo phone. I am going to cover Xolo A500s and Xolo A500s IPS. Both the smartphones retails at entry level slot from Xolo. The only difference between two is the screen type (as indicated by the names also). One comes with an IPS screen whereas second phone equips a LCD display (IPS is better of course).

Both the smartphone comes with 4 inch screen (screen type is discussed above) and runs on Android 4.2 Jellybean OS. Xolo has equipped both with dual core processors having 1.3 GHz clocking and 512 MB chipsets. Other specs include 5 MP rear, VGA front facing cameras, 4GB internal memory, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 1400 mAh battery etc. So in all both the smartphone carries satisfactory features (relative to price) but who is okay with given things. Isn’t it?

So for all my friends who want to enjoy some additional things on Xolo A500s and A500s IPS, here I am going to discuss a solid mechanism to root them. Rooting will give you the access to following things:

• Upshifting ROMs (Android 4.3 Jellybean, 4.4 KitKat etc)
• Better file management
• Better security
• Clocking up the CPU through Play Store Apps
• Custom level UIs
• Lots more

So rooting will affect every single nook and peak of both the smartphones. You are advised to get ready with following things before the rooting process:

• Computer/Laptop with internet connection
• Your smartphone
• USB cable

How to root Xolo A500s and A500s IPS

1. Download the rooting package to your computer.

2. Take USB and connect your smartphone to the computer.

3. Open the downloaded package and run RunMe.bat file.

4. Now you will get a command prompt window where you will be asked to enter required potions. Enter 1 for rooting your smartphone.

Once you enter 1 and hit enter, rooting process will start and will take around 2-3 minutes for competition. Now simply reboot your phone and check its rooting status through Root Checker App from Play Store.
