Intex Aqua Curve Smartphone Specs and Price

ADVERTISMENTS

Indian mobile companies have changed the entire electronics market in country. We have evidenced the flood of Android based 5 inch smartphones after the launch of MMX Canvas A100 (however it was a complete miss from Micromax). Now Intex Aqua Curve has been spotted online on company’s official website. This smartphone seems to be a medium budget smartphone with balanced specs (from all the possible sectors).

Intex Aqua is a popular smartphone series from company that has seen golden days last year. It is one of the top series from company for which they are doing some sort of promotion through various platforms (be it online or offline). So we can expect high quality from Intex in form of Aqua smartphones. Aqua Curve is just popped up on their official portal along with its specs and some images (which I am going to share here).

Intex Aqua Curve Specs

It is going to house a 5 inch 960x540 pixels screen with qHD resolution. They have used OGS curved display for making the entire experience a bit vibrant and clear. This curved display is the reason for its name (Aqua Curve). It will attract you with the very first look too (because of unique display qualities). It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jellybean OS and is powered by a MediaTek MT6582 chip quad core 1.3 GHz processor with 1 GB RAM. This processor should not produce any sort of performance glitches to this 5 incher. They have used similar processor in many other phablets which have performed quiet well on performance aspect. It is a 9.1 mm thick phone (not that sleek) with 152 grams weight.

It equips 4 GB on board memory which you can expand through a micro SD card (up to 32 GB). It comes with dual SIM dual standby option that allows you to use GSM + GSM SIMs simultaneously. Its camera unit consists of a 8 MP camera (with LED) at rear side and 2 MP camera on the front side. With 3G connectivity, its front facing camera is going to act as a standard webcam during video chatting sessions.

It is embedded with all the required connectivity formats. It further equips a 2000 mAh battery that is expected to provide around 6-8 hours talk time.

Price and Release

As I said earlier that Spice has just popped it up on their official portal. They have not revealed any information about when they will launch it and with what price tag. But if we carefully observe its specs then it should be priced somewhere in the range Rs. 12,000-13,000.
