N9005XXUENA6 official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update in India

So finally the long wait of all Galaxy Note 3 Indian customers is going to end now. Samsung has released the much awaited Android 4.4.2 KitKat official update to Indian handsets. We have already shred one report in which company had released the similar update in Poland. But now Indian users can rejoice with the latest edition of Android iteration in their very own Galaxy Note 3. Not only this, now all Note 3 devices (brand new) will come up with KitKat pre-installed inside.

The update is rolled out for Snapdragon variant only. Other variant users might have to wait for some more months (sadly no ETA about it). This was the condition for Poland users too. So if you own a non-Snapdragon variant of Note 3 then please ignore this official update. Build number of this update is N9005XXUENA6 and it was developed on 14 January 2013.

This ROM carries most of the standard features of KitKat surface that will change your previous Jellybean interface with a more user friendly and an efficient one. Here are its features:

• Green to White shift in status bar and icons (KitKat standard)
• Stability is improved
• Bugs are fixed
• Lots of performance tweaks to increase the overall performance
• Lockscreen camera shortcut is added which saves the time
• Improvements in music segments within the phone
• Lots more

How To

It is an official update so you don’t need to worry about it a lot. You can easily install it in your Note 3 within the device itself. You do not need any sort of additional peripheral for having it live on your smartphone/phablet. Just go to Settings>>About Phone menu and check for updates there. Once the search will be completed, you will see notification about official KitKat update there. Follow all the onscreen instructions and be ready to rejoice with the latest features and interfaces of KitKat. During this update, you will have to download the 361.04 MB sized ROM file. So be sure to try it through high speed internet connection only.

As Samsung is rolling it through OTA venture so it might take few more weeks to reach out to your areas. But please keep checking Phone Update’s potion to get in touch with this update. You might even receive an automatic notification about this update. In that case you will have to perform the same actions as I have mentioned above.
