How to root Nokia X smartphone


It is really a nice thing to see Nokia heading towards Android market now. In recent MWC 2014, company has unveiled three new Android smartphones dubbed Nokia X, X+ and XL. All the three smartphones are blended with superb specs that suit the Android environment to utmost. If it was not enough then let me introduce one new thing for all Nokia X customers. Now you can have root access to your device which will allow you to customize your smartphone with next level of apps, games, UIs etc. Rooting is a high level concept in Android world that allows you to make custom changes in your smartphone (which are not possible in normal conditions). But unfortunately rooting will void your device’s official warranty and you will be not able to claim it anymore. Just because of this one single reason I will suggest you to root your Nokia X only in case if you are familiar with rooting environment and can handle some ort of problems that might appear after rooting your smartphone.

How to Root Nokia X

So I have discussed various pros and cons of rooting in above paragraph. I hope you have decided whether you want to go for rooting or not. Just in case if you have decided to go with it then here are some simple instructions that you need to follow:

1. Follow all these pre-requisites.
2. Download Rooting APK to your computer. It will be in form of zip file. Please unzip it.
3. Take USB cable and move the unzipped APK to your Nokia X smartphone.
4. Now remove USB connection.
5. Open File Manager App and head over to APK file (that you have moved in 3rd step).
6. Now you will have to follow some onscreen steps after which you will see your Nokia X rooted.
