ADVERTISMENTS

Indian smartphone market is pretty lucky to have latest launches from big brads. Recently Moto X has appeared on one of the most reputed ecommerce store of India and now its turn for the Sony Xperia E1. So after Motorola, Sony is trying to reap the fruitful output from Indian market. Best thing about Xperia E1 is its price point. Recent clash of Moto G and Moto X has clearly shown the reality of Indian market. It is more inclined towards the price tag.

So in order to utilize the price oriented market, Sony has floored its smartphone for a very reasonable and low price tag. It’s not like that as it is an entry level smartphone (from rice aspect) so it houses basic specifications only. Infect company has added some of the best specifications that we have right now in the global industry.

Specifications of Sony Xperia E1

It comes with a 4 inch capacitive touch screen with 800x480 pixels TFT resolution. in comparison with local smartphones (of similar range), it is a much better screen with decent resolution. it runs on Android 43 Jellybean OS with the magic of a dual core 1.2 GHz processor paired up with 512 MB RAM. 512 MB might be appearing somewhat small but wait, have a look on its chipset. It equips Snapdragon 200 MSM8210 chipset for processor and Adreno 302 GPU chipset for graphics. It is way better than what other smartphones at this range are offering.

It comes with a 3 MP rear camera which is supposed to generate quality pictures. Unfortunately it misses a front facing camera which is its biggest latch. It comes with 4 GB internal memory with 32GB expandability option.

Its connectivity specs are usual that you can find in every smartphone of this range i.e. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G etc. Coming to the battery section then it holds a 1700 mAh battery which should pair up well with Snapdragon chip to output 6-7 hours battery response.

Xperia E1 Price and Availability in India

Xperia E1 is launched for an attracting price tag of Rs. 8980. It is available in Black, White and Purple colors. You can buy it from any online store. You will have to wait for 1-2 weeks for its showrooms/local shops availability.

As the conclusion I must say that it is one of the best smartphone of this range and if your budget lies somewhere close to it then go for it otherwise if possible then increase your budget and go for Moto X which is available for Rs. 12,499 onwards.
