Official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

Samsung has started rolling out Official Android 4.4.2 KitKat ROM update for Wi-Fi variant (SM-P600) of Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition. This ROM update is in its very initial phase and it has to cover a long distance yet. As of now Samsung has rolled out it Columbia. With this update, Samsung is somewhere keeping its word about update segment. They have reported earlier to bring KitKat updates for 14 Galaxy smartphones. They are working hard on after launch section and till now they have provided KitKat on most of the Galaxy smartphones.

Talking about Indian brands like Micromax and Karbonn then they should learn something like this from Samsung or any other top company. Indian brands have never focused on after launch development but in order to survive for long years, they should understand its importance and should come up with some timely updates for their flagships. Otherwise I don’t think they will be able to keep their market up for next few years (especially when global brands are challenging them in terms of price too).

This update is going to bring all the stock features of KitKat surface. It includes a whole new interface with mild color upgrades, support to wireless printing, full screen album and lot more. This update is going to thrill you with a whole new experience that is wonderful and user friendly than ever. The new UI looks smooth and responds much quicker when compared with older ones. The new icons are reshaped with rounded moulds which somewhere remind the software part of Samsung Galaxy S5. So talking in a nutshell then this update is going to bring decent changes to Galaxy Note that will make it a complete smartphone in every manner.

How To

This update is rolled out through official mats so you don’t need to worry about its guide. It will be rolled out as normal OTA operation in which you simply have to install a heavy ROM file on your smartphone. Not just that, you will automatically receive the update notification whenever it will hit your region. As I mentioned above, this update is in its very first phase now so it might take few months for reaching out to global locations. Talking about India then unfortunately Indian Galaxy Note variant SM-P601 hasn’t received any sort of update. So Indian Galaxy Note 10.1 users might have to wait for official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update on their smartphones.
